New Data File
MEPS HC-101: 2007 P11R3/P12R1 Population Characteristics Data File is the twelfth point in time file released from the MEPS Household Survey. The file consists of data obtained early in 2007 from Round 3 of Panel 11 and Round 1 of Panel 12 of the MEPS Household Survey and provides an early glimpse of the likely full year demographic, employment, health status, and health insurance coverage estimates.

2006 MEPS Insurance Component Questionnaires - Forms are now available.

New Publication
The percentage of uninsured Americans under age 65 varied, depending on the time period of being uninsured. In 2006, 26.7 percent of the population was uninsured at some point during the year, 19.4 percent was uninsured throughout the first half of the year, and 14.5 percent was uninsured for the entire year. —From Statistical Brief #214: The Uninsured in America, 1996-2007: Estimates for the U.S. Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population under Age 65
